Sono nata
Senza spazio
E tempo
Sona sbocciata
Senza ossigeno
E radici
Sono cresciuta
Senza cura
E ambiente
Mi rabbrividi’
Nel cuore
Del credente
Mi rispecchiai
Nella mente
Del leggente
Mi risvegliai
Nel vuoto
Dell Aldila’
Non sono
Ne passato
Ne presente
Non sono
Ne oggetto
Ne azione
Non sono
Ne bella
Ne misteriosa
Pero’ vivo
Nelle parole
Di Umberto Eco
Pero’ vivo
Nella voce
Dei tuoi pensieri
Pero’ vivo
Nello spazio
Del domani
(1) Un tributo a Umberto Eco, Il suo libro, “Il Nome della Rosa” ha sostituito il tempo e lo spazio nella mia vita nell’ inverno del 1983.

The Name of The Rose (2)
I was born
Without space
And time
I blossomed
Without oxygen
And roots
I grew up
Without care
And environment
I shivered
In the heart
Of my believers
I mirrored
In the minds
Of my readers
I woke up
In the void
of the afterlife
I’m
Neither the past
Nor the present
I’m
Neither an object
Nor an action
I’m
Neither beautiful
Nor mysterious
But I live
In the words
Of Umberto Eco
But I live
In the voice
Of your thoughts
But I live
In the space
Of tomorrow
(2) A tribute to Umberto Eco. His book, “The Name of the Rose,” replaced time and space in my life in the winter of 1983.
The best part about an link antique show like this is the variety you can find if you really look, link Mark Kauzlarich said when I asked him about his experience attending the link show for the first time. "Sure, there were piles of beat-up and unremarkable Rolex, and it takes the novelty out of some watches. But there were some real gems, too."That said, it felt like this year's Show saw more dealers making swaps than actual consumers and collectors buying watches to hold and keep.
And here, I link appreciate Lorca's commitment to certain specs. It's not an abstract exercise in manifesting link some mid-century design that never was, but also an effort to build a manual-wind mechanical chronograph fit for modern link life, as much as that very string of words isn't a prima facie contradiction in terms.
