Scossi dai miei passi

Fuggono i conigli dall’erba 

Rifugiandosi nelle  loro tane 

Turbati dalla mia caccia

Scappano i passeri dai rami 

Nascondendosi nei loro nidi

Sconvolti  dalla mia fiocina

Svaniscono i pesci spade dalle acque

Scomparendo nei fanghi

Confusa dal presente

Si sfasciano i miei sentimenti

Nell’incubo dei miei pensieri

Sconcertata delle mie parole

Crollano le mie speranze

Nella voragine  della mia anima

Sconvolta dai miei sentimenti

Si schianta il mio amore

Sulle rocce del mio passato

Stanca e travolta

Mi appoggio al mio dolore

Senza piangere

Ostinata dalla mia fermezza

Mi alzo dal mio stupore

E cammino verso domani

The Courage of Tomorrow

Shaken by my steps

Rabbits flee from the grass 

Taking refuge in their dens 

Disturbed by my hunting

The sparrows escape from the branches 

Hiding in their nests

Shocked by my harpoon

Swordfish vanish from the Strait

Disappearing into the mud

Confused by the present

My feelings fall apart

In the nightmare of my thoughts

Disconcerted by my words

My hopes collapse

In the chasm of my soul

Shocked by my feelings

My love crashes

On the rocks of my past

Tired and distraught

I lean into my pain

Without crying

Stilled by my firmness

I rise from my stupor

And walk toward tomorrow
